workshop —

We offer truly unique and bespoke solutions to provide our clients with a customised experience tailored to their brief and individual needs. We can design and recommend according to your proposed budget and your personal requirements. Our 3D design process will give you the opportunity to walk through your kitchen before it starts being crafted. Our kitchens are built to last and we use high quality materials and hardware. We are here to work with you on your project; a new kitchen, renovation, or custom designed and manufactured furniture.

We have a fresh, innovative, and contemporary approach that sets us apart from others. Will has an extensive and varied background in the building and project management industry, and it's this experience that allows our clients a seamless process from design to installation.

Andrew has an understanding of timber like no other, he has the ability to craft joinery in a traditional, yet contemporary fashion. The name Workshop harks back to the classroom for Will and Woody, admitting that workshop was their favourite and best subject.

andrew 'woody' woodhouse —

Woody learnt his craft whilst working under his admired technical joiner. His biggest passion is creating solutions to challenges that present themselves. It's these practical and technical skills that set Woody apart from other joiners.

Woody embarked on an art and design course after leaving school, following one passion, he then moved back to the Wairarapa to begin his four year apprenticeship at Rigg Zschokke. This was followed by four years as a qualified tradesman. He then moved to Melbourne for six years and worked as a cabinet maker, installer, and shop fitter, which lead him into the roll of Quality Assurer for a renowned niche joinery firm, managing sites and subcontractors.

During Woody's fourth year as an apprentice, he entered the national Custom Wood Awards, using only one sheet MDF to craft whatever you desired, he claimed second place with his near fully functioning turntables, mixer, and headphones (everything spun moved and worked like a proper record player except for the sound).

Woody's passion for timber exceeds all else, and having the opportunity to create alongside his clients' is of huge importance to Woody.
